Frederick Gough School is an 11-16 school that serves pupils mainly from the Bottesford, Ashby and Messingham districts of North Lincolnshire.

Since 2005 our school has made excellent progress in many areas. Academically, results on any of the government measures have nearly doubled and as a school we expect of us all (pupils and staff alike) to aim to achieve in the top 25% of schools in the country. In almost all cases this is achieved.

We have won a number of awards for the progress we have made academically, including a citation from the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust 3 years running and the much coveted International Award. We also pride ourselves on our contribution outside of school and have extra-curricular activities foreign visits, sport, music and drama too numerous to mention which are very well attended and appreciated by all stakeholders involved.

The personal values we share, the support we have for each other and the ‘feel’ of the school is immeasurable but profound.
